It is alarming that the number of people in India dying with sudden cardiac diseases has increased dramatically. It is unfortunate that the major population suffering from cardiac death is quite young. It is the time when they think of carrier romance, and marriage; they are attacked    by a disease of age and degeneration.
The major cause is the hectic life style we lead. Long hours, target oriented jobs have created undue stress. Managerial skills keep the employees always on their feet. Targets are kept in such a way   that they are never achieved. Employee is always under the feel of guilt. This guilt creates severe depression and anxiety towards the administrative meetings he faces and worried about the security of his job.
This creates surplus supply of hormones like adrenaline which are good to fight the situation but bad for the heart.  The body and brain faces more demand   of oxygen and energy to combat the situation. This will be met with more supply of blood. The hormones make the heart to pump more blood for the increased demand for body and brain. This increases blood pressure and heart rate. This increase now and then affects the heart adversely.
 Because of enormous work pressures the meals are usually skipped or postponed. These irregular meals are causing unhealthy snacking or prolonged hunger spans. In either case the blood cholesterol shoots up to compensate the low blood sugars. This severe adverse effect on heart adds up. 
High target means high workload. This is directly related to long working hours. This brings in irregular sleeping patterns which disturb the biological clocks; irregular sleep is associated with incomplete sleep. Incomplete sleep not only cause day naps but also put the person’s life at risk especially if he is behind wheels or at high risk zone. Irregular incomplete sleeps have been proven beyond doubt that they are one of the major causes of major heart attack.
As the mind is not at rest one reverts to wrong means of relaxation. Instant relaxation can be achieved by fat rich junk food, smoking and alcoholism. Needless to say these three are the final nail in the coffin. Heart, which has been overworked under the whip of sympathetic hormones and is poorly relaxed, is poured over with wrong food and toxins, still you expect to work.
Few of these precautions may help the heart to serve better:-
1 .Proper sleep: Sleep for 6-8 hours. Do not keep mobiles or phones near you. They may maintain anxiety in you.
2.Regular meals: As you reach office in time, reach to your food promptly in time.
3.Avoid: Smoking and Alcohal should be given up. No medical school supports these. If someone supports them, even in small quantities, he is misguiding you. They have always been harmful.
4.Avoid Stress: Time management will keep your schedules in place and job completed in time. This will avoid undue butterflies. It’s always better to say no than not to complete undoable jobs.
5.Right food and proper exercise will keep your faithful heart healthy and in turn it will keep you happy.
